1. The Promoter

This competition is run by Open Road Access (ORA), a wheelchair accessible vehicle hire company based in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

The competition is open to individuals who are existing subscribers to the ORA email database and are aged 18 or over. Employees of ORA and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

3. How to enter

To enter, participants must submit a story about a journey. Using one or more of the prompts provided in the campaign email or by voice notes. Submissions must be made before midnight on Sunday 14 June 2026. There is no purchase necessary.

4. Multiple entries

Participants may submit more than one story (one per prompt). However, submitting more than one entry does not increase a participant’s chance of winning. Each participant will be counted as a single entry regardless of the number of stories submitted.

5. The prize

One winner will receive: (a) a £150 voucher, the retailer or format of which will be confirmed at the time of award; and (b) one weekend WAV hire from ORA, subject to vehicle availability and booking conditions. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. Winner selection

The winner will be selected by ORA after submissions close on 14 June 2026. Selection will be based on the quality, authenticity, and emotional resonance of the submission. ORA’s decision is final.

7. Winner notification

The winner will be contacted privately via the email address used to submit their entry. ORA will not publicly announce the winner without their explicit written consent.

8. Use of submitted stories

By submitting a story, participants grant ORA permission to share their story anonymously across ORA’s social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) during and after Carers Week 2026. Stories will never be published with the participant’s name, their carer’s name, or any other identifying information without the participant’s explicit written consent. Participants may withdraw their story at any time by contacting ORA directly at info@openroadaccess.co.uk.

9. Data and privacy

Personal data collected through this competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and will be handled in accordance with ORA’s Privacy Policy. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent and will be deleted within 12 months of the competition closing.
