In the event of an emergency breakdown, please contact the RAC on 0330 159 8778. For minor issues such as such a punctured tyre, we have relationships with many established garages across the UK, including Kwik Fit, ATS and National Tyres.

Whether you’re looking for a small wheelchair accessible vehicle such as a Citroen Berlingo, or a larger van, such as a Vauxhall Vivaro, we’ve got a wide range of adapted vehicles that you can hire.
We’ll give you a call to check you’re happy with your choice. We’ll take the time to find out when you want to hire and what your needs are. We’ll answer any questions you might have, too. Then you can reserve the vehicle for you right away.You just need a few bits of information and a payment card.
When our trained delivery driver delivers the vehicle, they will provide a simple demonstration of how to use it and ensure you are confident before handing over the keys. We’ll even come and collect it from you when you’re done with it.
You can take to the open road knowing that insurance, breakdown cover and collection are all included in the price. You don’t even have to re-fuel your wheelchair accessible vehicle hire before you bring it back – we’ll take care of it.

We believe that renting an accessible vehicle should be convenient, affordable and enjoyable. However, we know this often isn’t the case.
Poor access to accessible transport is a major barrier for people with mobility issues.
Working alongside the UK’s leading disability agency, we spoke with over 500 wheelchair users and their families to identify what would make accessible vehicle hire more… accessible. For example, we know that refuelling before returning a vehicle can be off-putting. As such, will refuel the vehicle for you at transparent rates with no hidden costs.
…to amplifying the voice of the disabled community. We have a permanent advisory panel made up of disabled people and are proactively recruiting disabled people across all areas of our organisation. We will continue listening and learning.
