Terms and Conditions

The Promoter

The Promoter is: Open Road Access, Park House, Chantry Court, Sovereign Way, Chester, CH1 4QN.

The Prize Draw

The competition title is Win a Dream Getaway in the Lake District with Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Rental Included. It is a prize draw.

The Prize

• Up to 7 people can stay for three nights on a weekend (arriving on Friday) or four nights on a midweek (arriving on Monday) at Rose Cottage, Hackthorpe, Cumbria.
• Self-catering stay (meals and drinks not included) between 1 October 2024 and 30 April 2025 (excluding 16 December 2024 to 10 February 2025).
• Bookings are subject to availability.
• Minimum 14 days advance notice required for accommodation booking to the Provider, Lakes For All.
• Check-in time: 3 pm | Check-out time: 10 am.
• Subject to Lakes For All usual Booking Terms and Conditions, excluding Payment.
• A security deposit of £300 is required at booking as a damages and cautionary security deposit.
• The prize includes WAV hire for the stay duration with delivery, collection, insurance, and breakdown cover.
• Reservation must be made 14 days prior to the hire start date and is subject to availability and driver eligibility.
• The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
• Promoter may replace the prize with an alternative of equal or higher value if necessary.

How to Enter?

• The competition runs until 23:59 on 02/08/2024 (the ‘Closing Date’).
• Entries must be received by the Closing Date; late entries are disqualified.
• No purchase is necessary. Enter online by completing the entry form at (insert URL).
• Required information: First and last name, email address, phone number, acceptance of terms and conditions.

Eligibility

• Open to UK residents (excluding NI) aged 18 years or over.
• Not open to employees of the Promoter, affiliated companies, agencies, or anyone professionally connected.
• Limit of one entry per email address.
• Entries must not be automatically generated or completed by third parties.
• The promoter reserves right to disqualify participants who breach terms and conditions.

Winner Announcement

• The winner will be drawn randomly and announced via Open Road Access e-newsletter and social media within 14 days of the Closing Date.
• The winner must claim the prize within 5 working days of notification; otherwise, the prize may be redrawn.
• The promoter will provide information indicating a valid award took place.

Limitation of Liability

The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death resulting from taking up the prize, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Promoter does not claim ownership rights over your competition entry.

Data Protection and Publicity

• By entering, you agree that the Promoter may use your name and image for promotional purposes.
• Personal data will be processed for managing this competition.
• You may opt out of marketing messages from Open Road Access at any time.
• Data will be kept confidential and processed in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

General

• The Promoter may void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition if necessary.
• These terms are governed by English law and subject to the courts of England and Wales.
• This prize draw is not sponsored or administered by Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social network.
