Price Match Guarantee Terms and Conditions

• Booking timeframe: The rental must be booked at least 72 hours in advance to qualify for the Price Match Promise.
• Time limit for claims: Price match requests must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the competitor’s quote.
• Weekend and holiday exceptions: Price match requests submitted over weekends and public holidays may experience a response delay, and the timeframe for applying the Price Match Promise may be extended accordingly.
• Comparable vehicle: The competitor’s quote must be for a comparable vehicle, matching the specification, performance, and market segment of the vehicle being rented from Open Road Access, including equivalent accessibility features.
• Same date and terms: The competitor’s rental period, including exact dates, delivery and collection times, and all terms and conditions, must match those quoted by Open Road Access.
• Delivery and collection included: The competitor’s quote must include delivery and collection, matching Open Road Access’s quote for the location of the rental.
• Insurance and breakdown cover: The competitor’s quote must include equivalent insurance and breakdown cover for the duration of the rental.
• Verifiable documentation: Customers must provide a valid and verifiable written quote or URL from the competitor at the time of booking to qualify for Price Match Promise.
• Post-booking price match: The Price Match Promise is only valid at the time of initial booking and cannot be applied after the reservation has been confirmed, including changes to the rental date or vehicle type.
• Exclusions on discounts: The competitor’s quote cannot include any membership discounts, loyalty programme discounts, subscription services, vouchers, or personal promotional discounts. It also does not apply to quotes for rentals as part of a larger holiday package or bundled offer.
• Exclusion of promotional offers: Open Road Access will not match promotional offers such as free rental days, flash sales, or package deals with add-ons not included in the existing ORA package.
• Exclusion of additional charges: Price Match Promise applies only to the base rental cost and not to optional extras such as child seats.
• Competitor validation: The competitor must be a recognised vehicle rental business registered with Companies House and HMRC. Open Road Access does not price match against peer-to-peer rental services, private individuals, or non-specialised companies without accessibility features.
• Taxes and fees: The competitor’s quoted price must include all applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges for the rental period.
• Geographical limitations: The competitor’s rental service must operate within the same geographic region as Open Road Access for the Price Match Promise to apply.
• Price difference threshold: The Price Match Promise applies only if the competitor’s quoted price is within £100 of Open Road Access’s price.
• One price match per rental: The Price Match Promise can only be applied once per rental.
• Currency conversion: If the competitor’s quote is in a different currency, conversion will be based on Open Road Access’s exchange rate at the time of the price match claim.
• Right to modify: Open Road Access reserves the right to modify these terms or restrict the availability of the Price Match Promise at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
• Final decision: All Price Match Promise claims are subject to verification by Open Road Access. The company reserves the right to refuse any request that does not comply with the outlined terms.
