Refer and Earn with ORA

*Open Road Access (ORA) ‘Refer a Friend’ Customer Programme Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Open Road Access (ORA) ‘Refer a Friend’ programme (the ‘Reward’), you agree to the following
terms and conditions (the ‘Terms’). Under these Terms, if you invite a friend or family member to become an ORA customer you are a ‘Referrer.’  If you receive an invitation, you are the ‘Referred Friend.’  ORA is Open Road Access, Park House, Chantry Court. Sovereign Way, Chester, CH1 4QN.

1.    Who can refer a friend?

1.1.  A Referrer must:

  • Have hired a vehicle from Open Road Access and be a registered ORA customer.
  • Complete the ‘Refer a Friend’ form on (insert webpage).
 

1.2.  A Referrer can refer an unlimited number of friends, provided each friend/family member meets the
criteria in section 2.1.

 2.       What does your Referred Friend need to do to qualify for the reward?

To become a Referred Friend the friend/family member must:

2.1.  Make a booking with ORA for a minimum of 1 day rental within 6 months of receiving the email notification of a
10% discount.

2.2.  Provide the Referrer’s name and email address when making their booking.

2.3.  Pay in full for their first ORA rental and must not have rented from ORA before.

2.4.  Be aged 18 or over.

2.5.  Be a resident of the UK mainland (England, Wales and Scotland).

For the avoidance of doubt:

2.3  A person will not be considered as a Referred Friend if they have previously rentals. 

2.4 Only one individual in a multiple-driver rental can be the Referred Friend and eligible for the Reward.

2.5  A Referred Friend can only be referred once and cannot receive referrals from multiple Referrers.  

2.6  ORA will not share the details of the Referred Friend’s rental with the Referrer.

 3.       How does the ‘Referrer’ qualify for the reward?

To be eligible for the Referrer reward, the Referrer must:

3.1.  Accurately complete the ‘Refer a Friend’ form on (insert webpage). 

3.2.  Receive an acknowledgement email confirming the referral.

3.3.  Receive a 10% discount on their ORA customer account once the Referred Friend completes their qualifying
purchase by paying for their first ORA rental in full.

3.4.  Receive an email notification when the 10% discount is applied to their account.     

3.5.  Make a booking for a minimum of 1 day rental. 

For the avoidance of doubt:

3.6.  If the Referred Friend cancels their ORA rental, the Referrer will not be entitled to the Reward.

4.       What is the Reward?

4.1.  The Reward consists of a 10% discount for both the Referrer and Referred Friend, up to a maximum of £100 discount on a single rental.

4.2.  The Referred Friend’s discount applies to their first ORA rental and the Referrer’s discount applies to their next ORA
rental.

4.3.  The Reward is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria in clauses 2 and 3.

4.4.  The Reward is valid for one booking only and cannot be reused.

4.5.  The Reward is valid for 6 months from the date of receiving the first email notification confirming your discount.

For the avoidance of doubt:

4.6.  Multiple referrals are permitted, but customers can only claim once for each referred individual in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5.       General conditions

5.1.  As per clause 3, if the Reward is not received within 3 months of the Referrer submitting the Refer a Friend form,
please contact [email protected].

5.2.  The Refer a Friend programme is not valid in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. ORA may allow
other discount codes to be combined with this Promotion at its discretion.

5.3.  ORA reserves the right to amend or terminate the Reward at any time without notice.

5.4.  All Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

5.5.  ORA reserves the right to refuse the issue of any Reward to any Referred Friend or Referrer at any time.

5.6.  If the Referred Friend or Referrer satisfies the eligibility criteria and for any reason the reward is unavailable, ORA reserves the right to substitute the reward for a suitable alternative.

5.7.  Participants will need access to the internet to redeem the Reward.  Any charges relating to this are the responsibility of the Referrer or Referred Friend and their internet service provider and are not the responsibility of ORA.

5.8.  ORA has full discretion over Rewards issued.

5.9.  The Referrer is responsible for providing correct contact information for the Referred Friend to receive the Reward.

5.10. ORA will not be held liable for non-delivery of the Reward due to the provision of incorrect information, including an   invalid email address or other problems relating to email delivery.

5.11.  ORA will not be held liable if the Reward cannot be delivered for reasons including but not limited to fraud, dishonesty, technical failure or any reason beyond the control of the ORA.

5.12. ORA reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.

5.13.  The Reward cannot be applied to previously placed rentals.

5.14. The Referrer or Referred Friend must not be a current Proximo Group employee.

5.15. The Reward is only available through applying online.

5.16.  Any personal information collected as part of the Refer a Friend programme will be handled in accordance with ORA’s Privacy Policy, available at (insert).

5.17.   Personal data processed by the ORA as part of the referral programme will not be passed onto third parties.

5.18.  To the maximum extend permitted by law, ORA accepts no liability for any loss, damage and/or personal injury
suffered by participating in this Reward and/or arising out of the use of the Reward.

5.19.    This Reward and these Terms and Conditions are additional to, and do not replace any terms of your rental,
which contains important provisions relating to the hire of any vehicle and which shall continue to apply in full for the rental.

5.20.  By participating in the Refer a Friend programme, the Referrer and Referred Friend agree to these terms and
conditions.
