I have used ora several times over last couple of years, only ever had a problem on first rental. this was very rapidly rectified more than satisfactorily. the delivery drivers have all been very good and lottie in the office is very easy to talk to as she is friendly, knowledgeable and very conscientious. Its not often I post reviews but can easily recommend Open Road Access

Open Road Access are a very special company. The Administration staff are so caring and have total understanding of the needs of the hirers and, more importantly the disabled person’s needs whether a driver or a passenger. The communication throughout the process is excellent with staff members returning calls outside office hours. Our rental was to take the vehicle abroad which involved much more paperwork than normal. We were pleased with the diligence of ORA when we were stopped at the French/Italian border and, when I presented the officer with a large file, I could sense his disappointment when he photographed everything, discussed it with a colleague and presented it back to me saying everything was in order. This is the second time we have rented a vehicle to take abroad from ORA and we recommend them totally. Well done ORA Peter Hinkins Kingsdown, Deal, Kent

As a carer of a young man with multiple complex physical and medical diagnosis, using ORA is how his parents get some respite. Myself and another carer take him and all his equipment away for weekends so his parents can have a break and he can enjoy some time away like everyone else does. The vehicles are always delivered in good time. Customer service friendly, kind and understanding. A tip, is to always double check that the vehicle offered is of the correct size and layout for your needs. As there are many options ORA can offer. In my opinion the cost of hire is very reasonable as well.

As usual vehicle was in very good condition with good access and anchorage making it easy to take our wheel-chair bound relative out and about when he visited us. Staff (both office and delivery drivers) are always very helpful and vehicles are delivered and collected as agreed.

Fantastic Service We recently got the first time hired an accessible transit van and had an excellent service throughout, from booking until the end. It's genuinely designed with accessibility in mind snd stress free. All help and support from the office was excellent in picking what was suitable for us. No question was a problem. The vehicle was huge and was assured it was a beauty to drive. It was clean and Paul took his time in showing us how to operate. The whole trip felt safe, comfortable and well organised. I'm happy to recommend this service to anyone looking for a reliable transport. Thank you everyone and we have definitely booked for our next trip.

This was my second time of hiring a WAV Vehicle from ORA. The staff were very helpful with the booking, and delivery was carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The person delivering and collecting the vehicle phoned prior to each visit to ensure mutually convenient timing. The Vehicle was a Ford Tourneo Connect automatic, classed as a medium WAV, in excellent condition and perfect for my brother's wheelchair. Throughout a professional and pleasant service delivering precisely what was needed.

We were struggling to get my father-in-law back home for Christmas. No adapted taxis were available and all other firms had no availability and/or were charging twice as much. The value and customer service was truly exceptional. A big shout out to Emily who could not have been more helpful - hugely engaging and taking the time to understand/meet our needs.
